How to fold a Mini-booklet

A mini address book mini booklet

How much time do you spend on "content maintenance" of your address book? How often do you have to synchronize the address books of your computer, notebook and your mobile devices? What if there is missing one important contact on your phone, and to get it you would have to switch on your computer just to synchronize the address books?

We provide a simple solution of a phone book, especially if you do not always have your mobile devices ready to hand: Why don't you create a phone book from your contacts in meineZIELE and print it?

Well, folding a sheet of paper to a little book is not that prestigious. Elementary school pupils probably can do it better than us. However, it is practical, cheap and simple, only weighs 5 grams and fits in any billfold. Not every customer will find this useful. Maybe You would prefer the Toodleo-interface approach. Anyway, meineZIELE provides this little tool. By the way, the popularity of websites like pocketmod.com indicates that there are many more people who like the genius simplicity of these calendars..

Here we go:

1.

Start with the paper sheet as you printed it from meineZIELE. There are eight pages on your sheet. Of course, their content has the correct orientation for the address book.

2.

Fold the sheet in the middle, with the printed side outwards.

Use the printed middle line. If it is not really in the middle of the sheet, your print settings might be the cause. In the options menu (Team), the border of the individual pages can be readjusted.

3.

Fold the paper once more, this time with the printed side inwards. Do it on both sides.

4.

Cut along the dashed line until the center, indicated by the line of the last folding.

5.

Fowllowing step 4, you get two middle sections, a top and a bottom half. Fold the top half to the left and the bottom half to the right.

6.

Fold along the horizontal line, as shown in the picture.

7.

Now, you only need to turn the page.

The address book is complete.

Tip: Leave a copy of the address book in your car and your traveling bag for "emergencies". You never know. Flat batteries can be cruel. If you really need this tiny phone book once, you will be grateful for having participated in our folding lesson.
