Erfolg im TeamTask sheet

This page is for advanced users

There are special purposes for which You might want to print tasks from meineZIELE with some or ther information, outlining or linked images. For example a craftsman would perhaps like to take a task sheet with him on paper.

This is why You will find this printout design option named task sheet.

This is a powerful tool, but You will need some experience to make the best use of it.

A task sheet is startet in the toolpanel of an opened entry.

Templates

Task sheets are templates based. You can design up to three rtf-files as templase. One of them is automatically added as an example and You are free to change it at will. The file is named Task_Template_1.rtf  in the directory  My documents\meineZIELE\Zusatzdokumente. You may add templates 2 and 3 in the same directory.

In these templates You can place holder variables in squared brackets like [doc] which are replaced at printing time by information from the selected task.  [Objective description] for example will be replaced by the text of the entry.

Data fields:

Objective description
Creation date
Budget actual
Contact
Text detail
Who?
With whom?
Effort
Time
Resource
Measure
Feedback
minutes
Origin
Status
Time end
Date end
Location
field 1
field 2
field 3
field 4
hours
days
Budget
Date planned
Doc
Problem
Case-No

Field names must match exactly. Squared brackets are obligatory.

1-click-filing and outline:

There are additional variables:

[Outline] will show the outlined tasks of lower levels

[Outline2] will add date, time and doc column to every line

[1-Click] will show paths and urls of the 1-click-filing of the line

[1-Click_B] will replace paths by images

Time consumption:

With [Time consumption] You get a listing of time measured (via Stop-Go-lights) and with [Time consumption minutes] You get the sum.  [Time consumption outline] provides a listing of outlined entries with their time consumption and with [Time consumption outline sum] their sum. [Time consumption outline sum HHMM]  will show hours + minutes instead of minutes

Select fields of outlined entries:

You can add a level of subtasks and select its fields. For this use [Outline3] and add field names separated by vertical lines | like this: [Outline3 With whom?|Time|field 2|Location].

Example

Mr. Thomson has a small staff list in his mZ file.

Now he wants to print it out and use the task sheet feature for this. First he makes new template, using the third one with the name of  Task_Template_3.rtf (1):

He starts with his company logo (2). The field at (3) will get him the date of the "Staff list" entry. Then he chooses the possibility of free selection of data fields with [Outline3]. Now he wants pictures, if there are any and therefore add 1-Click_B to the bracket like this: [Outline3 1-Click_B].

Now he saves the template and starts the listing: Left click on "Staff list" (1) then open the task sheets (2) and select the third template (3)

The result is a structured list with images:

Of course mZ does no formatting. Perhaps You want to save it, open it with Word and put everything in place as You want. In that way You will be able to produce a handout or even a whole business plan out of Your outline.
