This makes it very easy to behave more skilfully in terms of work methods:
meineZIELE can help you to improve self-disciplined usage of
clever and effective working methods. These are the options
you can use (see Settings > Coach > Use... ) :
Recommendations:
Number of Top 3 tasks:
Recommended: "Warning from 4". Try to install a habit of
choosing 3 Top tasks for each day. When you use the recommended
option you will be warned when you are trying to activate a
fourth Top task.
Add new Top 3 tasks early:
Recommended: Choose three Top 3 tasks and try to complete
them. Don`t choose new Top tasks before you finished the old
ones. This setting is very important for your success. So please
try to use "Not allow". If this doesn`t work for you, please
select "Warning".
Pending Top 3 tasks:
Recommended: If you could not finish your Top 3 tasks the day
before, they might have been to big. Please try to choose
reachable aims e.g. by splitting bigger aims further. If it
happens anyway try to split them the next day. To let meineZIELE
help you select "Split after 1 day".
Maximum number of active tasks per circle of
life:
Recommended: Choose one or two tasks from each circle of life
to activate them. So you might select "Warning from 3". The
number you enter here depends on your individual situation. Just
try to keep the full number of activated entries at about 30.
Please use a limit for each circle of life when you reach 50
entries at latest.
Activate tasks with subtasks:
Recommended: Only activate tasks from the lowest outliner
level. Please use the "Warning" function.
Delete done tasks on action view:
Recommended option: Switch to goals view when trying to
delete a Top 3 task.
If you delete a task most of the times it makes sense to
activate a new task from the same section so you continue
following the superordinated aim. That is why it is good to
change to Goals view for deleting an entry.
Tasks with no overarching goal:
Recommended: We should avoid simply entering tasks and classifying them directly
as top tasks. This leads to preference for things that are urgent. Do not
allow.
1-click evaluation:
Recommended: It helps many users if they occasionally practice classifying tasks
as urgent / important. As a permanent setting, this usually becomes annoying.
But it
makes sense for everyone to try the feature. Continued use is recommended if you
repeatedly have significant problems with priorities. Recommended setting: Switch on from time to time.
