This page explains the functions of searching and selecting
1. Selection (filter)
You can select your entries in meineZIELE by a special icon, budget, age, due date, projects ...
Click on this button (globe) to start a selection: . The window "selection templates" opens. Now you can choose one of 15 "worlds". The globe without a number means: no selection, all entries shown.
Example: Selecting by an icon
Your entries in the outliner goal list might contain e.g. things to buy. When you are using the same icon for all of these entries, like for example the red shopping cart you can select by this icon so that only the things will be shown that you marked with this icon.
When you chose the selection by icons the icon window pops
up.
Choose an icon (in our example the red shopping cart
) and pull it onto the smiley icon:
Save with .
Now only the selected entries will be shown.
The current selection is marked yellow. To get back to the "normal" view and see all entries, click on the globe without a number .
Set more than one condition
It is possible to set several conditions in one subset: After you set the first one just choose another "Objective description" and go on in the same way as for the first one.
Only entries that fulfill BOTH of the conditions will be shown.
UsÃng several subsets
To use several subsets click on the "+" in the window "Selection templates".
How to delete subsets
Choose a subset you want to delete by clicking on the appropriate one . Then click on the "x" shown in the picture.
More options for better orientation in the selected entries
In the window "Selection templates" you can define options that might be useful for a better orientation:
It can be useful to see the entries that belong to the
selected ones. You can choose if only the superordinated
entries (higher-ranking outline) or
the subordinated entries (lower-ranking
outline) or both kinds shall be shown.
When you choose "Show in Button Line" the numbered globe button will be shown beside the unnumbered globe button even when the selection is currently not shown. You can change to this selection easily by just clicking on this button. Move the mouse over the numbered globes to show the names of the selections.
The last option "Show outline in target view when
mouse is moved" causes that when you move the mouse
over one of the selected entries a cutout of the outline will be
shown.
Select by circles of influence/ life roles/ projects
This kind of selection works in a similar way like the one
described for the selection by icons.
But this time the blue
globe button is used
. In the now opening window "Selection of objectives fields/
projects" first click on one of the numbered globes and name the
selection, e.g. with "private roles". Then you can choose the
life roles you want to be shown. Save with
. To get back to all life roles click on the unnumbered blue
globe
.

To search your entries for keywords click on the binoculars button.
Attention: This search function searches your entries end
texts in the 1-click-filing.
Not in the flash memo. For the
flash memo there is an extra search function.
Choose this option to search the 1-click-filing too .
The entries found are marked in red. You can use the navigation by icons on the right to go from one finding to the next.
To change to all entries click on the binocular button again.
