effectiviTREE is a web app, i.e. an app that works with most devices and runs in a modern browser, e.g. on an iPhone or an Android smartphone. More about effectiviTREE

meineZIELE can contact effectiviTREE, set up an account for you and exchange data with effectiviTREE.

 

 

Which data?

meineZIELE will send Your whole tasks file to effectiviTREE. You can edit Your data with effectiviTREE and later download it to meineZIELE again. Excepted are options, serial appointments and data from separate files like contacts, crib sheet or the password safe.

Links to lokal files are included, but invisible on Your Smartphone.

effectiviTREE will not display all Icons of meineZIELE and some other data like duration or place or data from the strategy functions all are invisible in effectiviTREE, but they remain included and back to meineZIELE they are back again.

IMPORTANT

The interface meineZIELE / effectiviTREE needs effectiviTREE PLUS. The license is included in Your meineZIELE license. Please note:

If You set up Your effectiviTREE Account from meineZIELE Your license is automatically dealt with. But if You want to use an already existing free effectiviTREE account, You have to add the license number in the account menu of effectiviTREE.

Auto Sync

Auto Sync means:

• When opening a file, meineZIELE checks, whether a version exists on effectiviTREE and downloads it, if it is newer.
• every file save in meineZIELE updates effectiviTREE

IMPORTANT: meineZIELE can work with different files, e.g. old copies or backups. Sync must guarantee, that only the correct file is synced..

Therefore sync requires the data path in the settings window (4) to be the same as the opened file. Enter the path by click on the icon behind the text line.

Security

effectiviTREE saves Your data "in the Cloud", which normally is a data center within the European Union but might be somewhere else if You frequently use Your data from different parts of the world.

Your data are encrypted on Your own device and are unreadable for us and for anybody else. Thes security depends on using a good, long password including also numbers and special characters.

Password security

effectiviTREE checks Your password at every login without even knowing it to prevent hackers from stealing it. We use a crypto object called hash for that purpose from which a password cannot be reconstructed. We only save hashes, not passwords.

Settings

Enter Your account credentials at (1). If the account does not already exist, You can set up one with Button (2)

Access from meineZIELE presupposes a valid license and subscription. Every license is good for one effectiviTREE account.

Some pre-conditions

For security and performance needs there are size restrictions. Please avoid long comments in Your tasks and do not use target curves in files You wish to sync with effectiviTREE.

Use Button (3) to find out whether changes are needed.

Sync manually

When credentials are entered, effectiviTREE has two Buttons for Upload and Download.

Which data?

• The whole goals and tasks outline with all information belonging to single lines are included.
• Options and settings are not included.
• Separate files like crib sheet or password save are not included

 

 

Different presentation

• effectiviTREE shows less information than meineZIELE. Information is not lost but invisible.
• effectiviTREE does not show Links to local files or e.g. outlook mails.
• effectiviTREE and meineZIELE use similar icons. But effectiviTREE has only a part of the Icons of meineZIELE and displayes a placeholder instead.
• effectiviTREE will not display self made icons.

meineZIELE on 2 PCs

effectiviTREE can be used as a means to sync two meineZIELE installations on different computers.

Since no options and no recurrent appointments are transferred its a good idea to transfer a full copy by USB-Stick the first time.

Errors?

The vast majority of errors are caused by wrong credentials.

• Please check the credentials entries in the meineZIELE settings window for the interface
• Please note that theses settings are just for this one file
• Please try to login to effectiviTREE with these credentials to ensure the account exists.
